Release Gallstones (Liver Flush, Part 2)

I recommend a regular seasonal cleanse, and part of that process is a liver and gallbladder flush to release gallstones. I choose September and January to do these cleanses, for this is when the major seasons change and when the body needs support moving into the next major season.

[ NEW VIDEO: Liver Flush Detox & Your Emotions ]

The Seasonal Cleanse lasts for 30 days, and we have a Rejuv Pack to support you through this process to ensure you have great success and don’t merely mobilize toxins and then end up reabsorbing them for your detox pathways cannot cope with the toxins being released. You don’t have to do the full pack if your schedule doesn’t allow for it so you can also use the Liver Flush Essentials Pack.

This Liver Cleanse is a perfect bi-annual cleanse to implement as a wonderful lifestyle habit so you can have excellent health and wellness long term. Let’s face it you would usually service your car at least twice a year, and your body is way more complicated than the average engine, so this is just part of general maintenance. So as part of Self Care September honour yourself and do a cleanse as a great act of self-love to nurture your mind and body.

This is Part 2 of the protocol and you do it over 24 hours. I CAN’T STRESS ENOUGH that you need to follow The Liver Flush Protocol in Part 1 to get the best results. If you do not follow the protocol, this part is likely to do more harm than good.

I’ve had so many patients reach out to me already this month, giving feedback on how, after last years cleanse, they automatically included another cleanse, and they have lost 5-10kg. Their energy levels are excellent, their hair skin and nails have really improved, digestion functioning well and they look and feel amazing, so there is a lot to be ai by ‘servicing your engine’.

Have you tried a liver flush in the past but it did not release gallstones? Our Liver Cleanse Protocol will help you to a successful result.  I encourage you to read all my blogs on this topic and follow all steps and recommendations (linked below).

Start with part 1 of this Rejuv Liver Flush Protocol. Once done, choose option A or B below based on if you had time to do the recommended 6-Day Liver Cleanse in part 1.

2020 UPDATE: LOVE YOUR LIVER, BOOST YOUR METABOLISM & LOSE FAT

The original liver flush that I’ve used over many years comes from the research by Andrea Moritz, and I have tweaked this over the years based on client feedback. I can’t stress enough how important it is to do part 1 first to soften the gallstones to allow for a pain-free experience.

To do a liver flush, the ingredients you need include:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 4 tbsp. of Epsom salts (ONLY IF you’ve followed the Liver Flush Protocol in part 1)
  • 1/2 cup of lemon or grapefruit juice

If you didn’t have time to do the 5-7 days of part 1, then please DO NOT use the Epsom salts as it could get quite painful if you haven’t softened the stones. I’m a firm believer in being kind to oneself so use the above ingredients with the lemon, olive oil & grapefruit but leave out the Epsom salts.

Prepare to Release Gallstones

The day of the cleanse, eat a light, low-fat breakfast and lunch. Eating high-fat foods triggers the release of bile from the liver into the gallbladder, which helps in the digestion of fat. So staying on your juice, WelleCo vegan protein shake and soup of the last week is a great day to prepare for the flush. Eating light allows bile to build up in the liver and gallbladder throughout the day, forcing the release of gallstones upon ingesting the olive oil in the evening.

Do not eat or drink anything after 2 pm, small sips of water are fine till 6 pm. If you chose option B, you could keep drinking water, and sip 1 cup of fresh apple juice if feeling a little light-headed if you’re not used to intermittent fasting.

The Procedure to Release Gallstones

Option A: With Epsom Salts

ONLY use this option IF you’ve followed the Liver Flush Protocol in part 1.

Instructions:

  • At 6 pm mix, 1 tbsp of Epsom salts in 1 glass of cup water & drink half.
  • Wait two hours and take the second dose (pinch your nose and have a little honey in lemon water to discard the taste).
  • Prepare for bed around 9:30 pm. At 10 pm mix 1/2 cup of olive oil with 1/4 cup of lemon juice & 1/4 cup of grapefruit juice and drink quite quickly. After finishing the drink, go to bed and lay on your right side, in a fetal position, to help your body release gallstones.

All supplements you need to prepare for this option with the Liver Flush Protocol have been assembled in the Liver Flush Essentials Pack at a 20% discount.

Option B: Without Epsom Salts

Instructions:

Prepare for bed around 9:30 pm. At 10 pm mix 1/2 cup of olive oil with 1/4 cup of lemon juice & 1/4 cup of grapefruit juice and drink quite quickly. After finishing the drink, go to bed and lay on your right side, in a fetal position, to support the body’s release of gallstones.

It’s imperative that you support and open up these detox pathways for you to have the safest and most effective result. If you don’t support these systems, they are at risk of reabsorbing the released toxins as your organs are too tired to filter them out.

The Liver Cleanse Detox Pack gives you everything you need to cleanse and detox your whole system and organs. Your body systems and organs are continually dealing with chemicals, hormones and pesticides from our food and environment, not to mention the pressure put on our body’s from treat meals and drinks on weekends.

Release the Gallstones – What to Expect

Some people can go through the night and wake up with some tummy cramps, go to the loo and expel pea-sized greenish-brown stones the next morning. Others wake in the night with diarrhoea and go a few times throughout the night too.

Note, a clinical observation from over 20 years of treating patients, not a scientific fact, but I have noticed patients with blood type O & B tend to handle the flush much more comfortable than blood types A & AB.

As I said, a clinical observation, not scientific fact so use that information as you wish. The number of stones can range from just a few to many. If you want to go hardcore many of my patients poop into a bucket so they can see their stones for once you expel into the loo, it is hard to see what you expelled. The gallstones will also release cholesterol like crystals too, so a fun thing to look out for, if you are into science.
